Join the Diaspora School in Kosovo 2017 and learn from ambitious people impassioned by innovation and technology.

Do you want to be the next ChangeMaker and affect positive change in local communities? Are you an innovative, solution-driven individual willing to share your experience with peers living in Kosovo, the Diaspora and the Western Balkan region? If you answered yes to the questions above, the Diaspora School in Kosovo is the right place for you!

This year, thanks to the financial support of Youth, Employment and Skills (YES) project by GIZ, Germin is organizing a five-day multidisciplinary civic hacking program that will allow you to bring your ideas to life through teamwork, exchange of ideas and positive competition.

Our goal is to HACK real life problems by providing cost-effective solutions, rekindle the connection between diaspora and young professionals from local communities in the Western Balkans, and to develop a network of empowered individuals who are willing to inspire, engage and connect.

Top prizes for this multidisciplinary hackathon include mentorship, training and seed money (1st place, EUR6000, 2nd place, EUR 5000, and 3rd place EUR 4000) to implement your idea in Malisheva and Prizren, the two cities selected for this pilot project.

If you want to make a change, we encourage you to apply.  We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together for Prizren and Malisheva.
