What is Diaspora School in Kosovo?
The Diaspora School in Kosovo (DSK) is an innovative project which brings together young professionals (age 18-35) from Kosovo, the Diaspora and the Western Balkans region to connect, share knowledge, and create community solutions that address pressing issues at a local level. How to apply?
To apply to the DSK you have to fill out the online application, and submit required supporting documents mentioned in the application form HERE.
Where will the school be held?
The DSK will be held in two Kosovo municipalities, in the city of Prizren and Malishevë.
I missed out the application deadline. Can I get an extension?
It is essential that you submit your application by 12.00 am (midnight) on the closing date. Regrettably, we are unable to accept late applications.
What supporting documents should I send?
A PDF file or Word document of your CV, Resume or Bio.
I just started University. Am I eligible to apply to your program?
The application is open to all interested applicants who are between 18-35 years of age and who are studying, working or taking a gap year around the world.
When will I receive a decision on my application?
Successful applicants will be informed via email no later than October 1st 2017. However,please note that you could be informed before, taken into account that the evaluation of applications will take place on a rolling basis.
What is the working language of the DSK?
The official language of the DSK is English.
Who is consider a Diaspora Member?
Diaspora Members living outside of Kosovo, Albania, Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
Who is considered a participant from the Western Balkans?
Applicants from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania.
Do I need to be a tech-geek?
No, you do not have to be a teach-geek to apply for this school. We encourage all passionate individuals who want to make a change to apply.
